the right to bear arms

CNN said: "the U.S. Supreme Court is tackling one of the thorniest issues in U.S. life -- gun laws and the extent gun ownership can be restricted."

Constitution of the United States of America, the Second Amendment.: A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed(limited).



The last thing I want to do is to hurt someone. I never ever carry any arms with me. But let's think about a critical situation for a moment, for example, a murderer aimed my family with his gun in front of me.

Under the situation, I had a pistol legally. Wouldn't I fire at him?
Um.... in my opinion, Yes, maybe I would. I had to do. But even so, I don't think killing justify as a form of self-defense. I think it is enough to make an opponent wounded temporarily.

However, I was unarmed under the same situation. What would be happen on my family and me?
I hate to think about that kind of thing though, there would be nothing that we could do.

That would be true, but do you think we need assault-type weapon? I don't think so. Why on earth can citizens obtain machine guns? In the U.S, do citizens want to let anybody commit genocide???

Anyway. under any circumstance, we have to just obey the law. And the election is only chance that we can do to change the law. So, most important thing is imagine clearly what a country we want to live in, and each of us should think over how make the ideal country. Then, on that basis, we should vote in the right man/woman who has the same opinion.
But if every candidate unfit as a lawmaker... Why don't you plan to run?
